The JBL Wave Buds (model JBLWBUDSBLK) are true wireless earbuds that offer a combination of signature JBL audio and practical features for daily use. They feature an ergonomic “bud” design that fits comfortably in the ear, providing excellent passive noise isolation and enhancing bass performance by gently sealing the ear. The earbuds are equipped with 8mm dynamic drivers that deliver powerful JBL Deep Bass Sound, creating a rich and immersive listening experience.

While they do not feature Active Noise Cancelling, the Wave Buds are equipped with Smart Ambient technology, which includes Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes. Ambient Aware allows you to hear external sounds for safety and awareness, while TalkThru lowers the music volume and amplifies voices for quick conversations without needing to remove the earbuds. The earbuds have a durable IP54 water and dust-resistant rating, and the charging case is rated IPX2 water-resistant, making them suitable for use during workouts or in light rain.

The earbuds provide up to 32 hours of total playback time (8 hours in the earbuds and an additional 24 hours from the charging case). When the battery is low, a speed charge feature provides 2 hours of playtime from just a 10-minute charge. They utilize Bluetooth 5.2 for a stable wireless connection and support hands-free stereo calls with VoiceAware, which lets you control how much of your own voice you hear during calls. The Wave Buds are also compatible with the JBL Headphones App, which allows you to customize the sound with EQ settings and personalize touch controls.
