The Yeastar N412 Smart PBX is a flexible and modular on-premise PBX system designed specifically to serve the communication needs of small businesses. As a hybrid solution, it effectively bridges the gap between traditional analog telephony and modern VoIP, providing a future-proof platform without the complexity or high cost of larger systems.
The N412 comes pre-configured with 8 fixed RJ11 FXS ports for analog extensions, allowing a business to immediately connect up to eight standard phones. Its modular design is a key feature, with 4 customizable module slots that enable expansion of both internal and external lines. Two slots are available for adding up to 4 more analog extensions (using S2 modules), while the other two can be used to add up to 4 analog CO lines or BRI lines, providing flexible connectivity to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or an ISDN network.
Beyond its physical connectivity, the N412 is a true VoIP-capable system, supporting up to 8 SIP extensions and 4 SIP trunks out of the box. This dual capability allows businesses to transition to VoIP at their own pace, utilizing a mix of analog and IP endpoints. The system can handle up to 8 concurrent calls and comes with a comprehensive suite of features, all included without extra licensing fees.
Key features include an advanced, multi-level Automated Attendant (IVR) that gives a professional impression, built-in call recording to an external TF card or network disk, and a sophisticated call queuing system. The N412 also supports essential PBX functionalities such as call forwarding, call parking, conferencing, and voicemail-to-email. Management is streamlined through a user-friendly, web-based graphical user interface (GUI) that makes configuration and maintenance simple, even for users without extensive IT experience.
