Description

The ViewSonic OMNI VX2418C is a 23.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) curved gaming monitor. It features a 1500R curvature, which provides a more immersive viewing experience by wrapping the display around the user’s field of view. The monitor uses a VA (Vertical Alignment) panel, known for its high static contrast ratio of 3000:1, which results in deep blacks and rich colors.

For gaming, the VX2418C offers a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz (though some sources list 180Hz) and a rapid 1ms (MPRT) response time. This combination helps to reduce motion blur and ghosting, ensuring a fluid experience in fast-paced games. To eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, it is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium technology. The monitor also features ViewSonic’s exclusive ViewMode presets, which optimize screen performance for different applications like gaming, watching movies, or editing.

The monitor’s design includes thin bezels on three sides for a clean look and is VESA-compatible for flexible mounting. The included stand, however, offers only tilt adjustment. For audio, it has integrated dual 2W speakers, which are suitable for basic sound needs but may not satisfy serious gamers. Connectivity is provided by a DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 1.4 ports.
