The Moxa IKS-6726A Series are managed Ethernet switches with a versatile, modular design. This series is built around a chassis that accommodates a combination of fixed ports and two modular slots. This allows users to customize the switch with different Fast Ethernet modules, providing a total of up to 24 Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit combo ports (which can be either copper or SFP). This modularity is ideal for network planners who need to adapt their switch to specific media combinations, such as a mix of copper and fiber connections.

As a managed switch, the IKS-6726A provides a comprehensive set of features crucial for industrial automation, traffic control, and maritime applications. It supports Moxa’s Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy protocols, ensuring a rapid recovery time of less than 20 ms in the event of a link failure. It also offers advanced management capabilities like VLANs, QoS (Quality of Service), and security features such as port security and access control lists (ACLs). The switch is built to withstand harsh environments with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C and an IP30-rated housing. It also features redundant, isolated power inputs with a wide universal power supply range (24/48 VDC or 110/220 VAC), which further enhances reliability.
