The LG UltraGear 38GN950-B is a 37.5-inch curved ultrawide monitor with a WQHD+ (3840 x 1600) resolution. This resolution offers more vertical pixels than a standard ultrawide (3440×1440), providing extra screen real estate for both gaming and productivity. It features a Nano IPS panel, a technology pioneered by LG that uses nanoparticles to enhance color purity, resulting in a wide color gamut that covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor has a subtle 2300R curvature that helps to fill the user’s peripheral vision.

For gaming performance, it has a native 144Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 160Hz. It boasts a rapid 1ms (GtG – Gray-to-Gray) response time, a key feature that minimizes motion blur and ghosting.
