The JBL Tune Flex TWS (model JBLTFLEXBLK) are true wireless earbuds that offer a unique hybrid design, giving users the choice between an “open” fit and a “sealing” fit. They come with two sets of eartips: an open design similar to classic earbuds for comfort and situational awareness, and three sizes of sealing eartips to create a more secure fit for improved sound quality and noise isolation. They are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers that deliver powerful JBL Pure Bass Sound, providing a deep, resonant low-end that is a hallmark of the brand.

A key feature is Active Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient. This technology works to reduce ambient noise, allowing for more focused listening. The Ambient Aware mode lets you hear your surroundings, while TalkThru amplifies voices for easy conversations without removing the earbuds. The effectiveness of the noise cancellation, however, is heavily dependent on the chosen fit and the seal it creates.

The Tune Flex TWS offers a total of up to 32 hours of playback (8 hours in the earbuds and an additional 24 hours from the charging case). With ANC on, this is reduced to 6 hours in the earbuds and 18 hours in the case. A speed charge feature provides 2 hours of music from just a 10-minute charge. The earbuds are rated IPX4 water-resistant, making them suitable for workouts and light rain. They feature four microphones for clear calls, and the VoiceAware feature allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear during conversations. The headphones are compatible with the JBL Headphones App, which provides customization options, including EQ adjustments.
