Description

The Starlink Mesh Wi-Fi Node is a compact device that functions as an extension of an existing Starlink network. It is designed to work in tandem with a primary Starlink Wi-Fi router (either the Gen 2 or Gen 3 models) to create a seamless mesh network. The node itself is an indoor-use device that plugs directly into a power outlet. It automatically pairs with the main Starlink router, typically with a simple setup process managed through the Starlink mobile app.

The node’s purpose is to act as a repeater, wirelessly extending the Wi-Fi signal to areas where the primary router’s signal is weak. By strategically placing one or more nodes (Starlink recommends up to three for optimal performance), a user can eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and ensure a consistent, high-speed connection for all their devices, regardless of their location in the building. While the node functions wirelessly, a wired mesh connection can also be set up using an Ethernet cable and the appropriate Starlink adapters. The node is compatible with both the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Starlink routers.
