Description
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is a powerful GPU built on the GA104 die. Its main upgrades over the standard RTX 3070 are a higher number of CUDA cores and, more significantly, a shift to faster GDDR6X memory. While the VRAM capacity remains at 8 GB, the upgrade to GDDR6X on a 256-bit memory bus provides a substantial increase in memory bandwidth, from 448 GB/s to over 600 GB/s. This helps to improve performance, especially at higher resolutions like 1440p and 4K. The card also features enhanced 2nd-gen RT Cores and 3rd-gen Tensor Cores, enabling superior ray tracing and AI-accelerated performance with technologies like DLSS. However, this increased performance comes at the cost of higher power consumption compared to the original RTX 3070.
