The LG UltraGear 27UL500-W is a 27-inch flat-screen monitor with a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution. It utilizes a color-accurate IPS panel, which provides wide viewing angles and vibrant colors, covering 98% of the sRGB color gamut. This makes it well-suited for a variety of tasks, from media consumption and content creation to everyday computing.

For gaming, the monitor is equipped with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a 5ms (GtG) response time. While not ideal for competitive, high-frame-rate gaming, these specifications are more than sufficient for single-player, cinematic titles and general desktop use. It also includes AMD FreeSync™ technology, which helps to reduce screen tearing and stuttering when paired with a compatible AMD graphics card. Additional gaming features like Dynamic Action Sync (DAS) and Black Stabilizer are also included to enhance the gaming experience.

The monitor supports HDR10, which, while not a true HDR experience due to the limited brightness and lack of local dimming, can still provide a slightly improved contrast and color range in compatible content.
