This device is designed to be mounted directly into a standard wall-box, providing seamless, high-performance wireless coverage from an unobtrusive form factor.

Harnessing the power of Wi-Fi 6E, the U6-Enterprise-IW operates on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, leveraging the clean, new 6 GHz spectrum to deliver an impressive aggregate throughput of up to 10.2 Gbps. It features 10 spatial streams (2×2 on 2.4 GHz and 4×4 on both 5 GHz and 6 GHz) with MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, allowing it to efficiently serve over 600 concurrent clients.

Beyond its wireless capabilities, the U6-Enterprise-IW functions as a versatile network hub. It includes an integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch, with one port offering PoE passthrough to power a connected device like an IP phone or camera. A dedicated 2.5 GbE uplink port ensures that the access point’s high wireless throughput is never bottlenecked by the wired connection. The device is powered by a PoE+ or PoE++ source from a compatible UniFi switch, with PoE++ being required to activate the PoE output feature. The U6-Enterprise-IW is centrally managed by the UniFi Network Application, providing a single, intuitive interface for configuration, monitoring, and advanced security protocols such as WPA3 and per-user rate limiting.
