Description
The Intel Arc A770 is built on the full ACM-G10 GPU, featuring 32 Xe Cores (4,096 shading units), 512 matrix engines, and 32 Ray Tracing Units. The card was notably released in two versions: an 8 GB model and a more powerful 16 GB model. The 16 GB version stands out for its generous memory capacity on a 256-bit memory bus, which provides a significant advantage in VRAM-intensive games at 1440p and higher resolutions, as well as in content creation and AI workloads. The Alchemist architecture introduces key features such as XeSS (Xe Super Sampling), an AI-enhanced upscaling technology, and hardware-accelerated encoding for modern codecs like AV1. While the A770 faced initial challenges with driver stability and inconsistent performance in older APIs like DirectX 11, Intel has made significant strides through continuous driver updates, greatly improving its performance and stability over time.
