The Dinstar DAG1000-4S VoIP Gateway is a compact and reliable analog VoIP gateway designed for small businesses and multi-location environments that need to connect multiple analog devices to a modern VoIP network. This multi-functional gateway provides a seamless bridge between traditional telephony equipment and next-generation IP-based communication platforms.

The DAG1000-4S features 4 RJ11 FXS ports, allowing for the connection of up to four analog devices, such as standard analog phones, cordless phones, fax machines, or legacy PBX extensions. Its robust hardware and embedded operating system ensure high stability and reliability. The gateway is fully compliant with the SIP protocol, making it highly interoperable with a wide range of softswitches, IP PBXs, and SIP-based IP telephony systems.

In addition to its physical connectivity, the DAG1000-4S offers a rich set of telephony and VoIP features. It supports the T.38 fax protocol, ensuring reliable fax-over-IP transmission, which is a critical requirement for many businesses. Voice quality is maintained at a high level through advanced features like G.168 echo cancellation (with up to 128ms tail length), adaptive jitter buffer, and various voice codecs (G.711, G.723.1, G.729A/B). The device also includes standard call features such as call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding, 3-way conferencing, and a flexible dial plan.

Management is simplified through a user-friendly, web-based graphical user interface (GUI) that allows for quick installation and configuration. For larger-scale deployments, the gateway supports auto-provisioning via TR-069 and Dinstar’s Cloud Management System, reducing the time and effort required for setup. The DAG1000-4S is a fanless, desktop-style device with low power consumption, making it an excellent choice for a quiet office or home environment.
