The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell (UVC-G4-Doorbell) is an advanced, high-definition video doorbell that provides real-time monitoring and two-way audio communication. It features a high-quality 5 MP CMOS sensor that streams video at 1600×1200 resolution (2MP) at 30 frames per second (FPS), offering a wide 155° diagonal field of view. For round-the-clock surveillance, the G4 Doorbell includes a built-in IR LED for night vision, ensuring clear footage in low-light conditions.

The device is designed to be a direct replacement for an existing wired doorbell. It requires a hardwired power connection with a 16-24V AC, 20VA minimum transformer, which is a common setup in many regions. It connects to the network via dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and seamlessly integrates with the UniFi Protect application. When a visitor presses the ring button, the G4 Doorbell will trigger an existing mechanical or digital chime (if a compatible chime is wired), send an immediate notification to the UniFi Protect mobile app, and begin recording.
