The Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 (NSM5) is a highly versatile and compact outdoor wireless CPE (Customer Premises Equipment). It is designed for both Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) applications, making it ideal for creating wireless bridges, extending network access to remote buildings, or serving as a client device in a wider wireless network. The NSM5 operates in the less-congested 5 GHz band, which helps in avoiding interference and ensures stable, high-performance connections.

Its compact, all-in-one design integrates a high-gain panel antenna and dual-polarity performance into a single unit, which is easy to install and align. The NSM5 is part of Ubiquiti’s airMAX series, leveraging Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology to improve network scalability, throughput, and reduce latency.

• High-Gain Antenna: The NSM5 has an integrated panel antenna with a gain of 14.6-16.1 dBi, which provides a focused signal and allows for long-distance wireless links.
• Dual Ethernet Ports: It is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. The secondary port is a unique feature that supports software-enabled Passive PoE output, allowing you to power a second device (like an IP camera or another radio) directly from the NanoStation.
